So this guy, Matt Bomer, lands a role in Steven Soderbergh’s new film, Magic Mike; where the story is supposed to follow this group of male strippers and their jolly, ball shaking misadventures. I’m not this staunch feminist or anything - actually, I take pride in having a penis - but the claim of being able to identify himself with the struggles of womanhood after being paid a heaping pile of cash to endure the blight of body waxing, self-tanning, and constant gym time just comes across as a little sketchy to me.
